Ulla dolls are inspired by the ancient Mayan legend of worry dolls. Mayans believed that if people share their worries with small dolls called ‘worry dolls’ before going to sleep, the worry dolls will take away all the worries overnight. Worry dolls are still made and shared among people in Guatemala as they believe these little dolls have the magic to ease one’s worries.
